His experience level bothered me a bit, too - But now he's got Joe Biden to back him up, and in spite of his foibles, I've always liked and trusted Joe.

Of course they can cancel you - they take your original application and try to nitpick it to death and if they find something that

I watched this and it really doesn't bother me at all. They served on committees, I have served on many committees as a professional and I never asked for background checks on the other members. If Ayers is such a danger why is he teaching impressionable young college students? Likely answer, because he is not a danger to himself or others. End of story and the longer the McCain camp makes this an issue the worse they will look. But if that is your goal I guess keep it up. I know this kind of stuff is pushing me away from the McCain camp and judging by the polls I have plenty of company.

City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo held a press conference at City Hall East, Tuesday with two patients Jennifer Horton and Jennifer Thompson who had their medical coverage rescinded by Blue Cross.

City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo says the health insurer made false promises of coverage and hid a scheme to drop sick policyholders. The company denies the allegations.

The state's largest for-profit health insurer, Anthem Blue Cross, was accused Wednesday of a widespread pattern of false advertising and fraud in a $1-billion lawsuit that claims that the company's coverage "is largely illusory."

Los Angeles City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo alleged in the suit that the insurer sold people false promises of coverage and concealed a scheme to renege on policies for those diagnosed with serious and often expensive medical conditions, including cancer and congestive heart failure. The suit says more than 500,000 people were tricked into buying individual and family policies from Blue Cross.
