Just a suggestion, but I'd start with the Wikipedia page, which isn't bad. There's also this article from Chicago Magazine from a few years back. It mentions Ayers tangentially, but focuses more on the Weathermen in general. Still, a good way to get an idea for what it was actually LIKE in that time and place. And, lastly, you might try the infamous NY Times article that started it all. It was an interview that Ayers did in advance of the release of his book, an article which - ironically - ran in the Times on September 11, 2001. Not a good day to be talking about political dissent. And also, apparently, not all that accurate in its characterization of what Ayers said.
Oh, yeah....almost forgot. If you want to get a better idea of the man, you might try his own blog, or the specific blog post he wrote in response to the Times article, back in 2001.
Come to your own conclusions.
And you believe that it doesn't happen, all the time?
Seriously?
That is a very interesting video.
OK, I guess. But I'm curious. Most of what they post are video clips from various television news programs. How can a clip of a TV news show be "not credible?" Yes, I know they can be edited....but the ones at crooksandliars are not (other than at the beginning and the end, I suppose). And they can use small soundbites to take things out of context....but that's sort of a case-by-case basis, wouldn't you say (as well as often a matter of opinion)?
In this case, the video in question is a computer-screen capture of what USED to happen when you typed "voteforthemilf.com" into a browser. It doesn't happen anymore, because that redirect now goes to.....google. Do you truly believe that someone at crooksandliars would
Aside from that fact that that would be actionable fraud and libel, it also would be a tremendous amount of work. Such a scenario genuinely seems more likely to you than simply that it is what the video depicts it to be?
If you don't know....you probably don't want to know. But in the interest of sparing you the shock you'll get if you simply google that acronym (and trust me, it won't be subtle), MILF stands for Mother I'd Like to F---
Don't say I didn't warn you.
