is anyone watching the debate? What do you think so far? Who is 'winning'? They don't seem to be answering many audience questions.

It will greatly reduce the number of uninsured. This seems to be a desire amongst liberals.

Maybe Obama didn't push for a middle-class tax cut when he got to the senate because at that point the Republicans, who had been in control of both the legislative and executive branches, had already run up such a deficit that Obama thought it would be unwise to push for more tax cuts.

while i suppose anything can be true, this doesn't sound very likely.

IF BO doesn't understand why the heck we went to Iraq in the first place I'd suggest he ask Joe Biden, his VP pick.

So go back and read my earlier post before you split the hair of how there ARE certain other avenues of insurance/care for certain groups.

Don't really see the issue; if you aren't poor, elderly, disabled or a veteran you're supposed to get off your behind and provide for yourself. You have a problem with this?

I COMPLETELY know how you feel. McCain has got to take the gloves off and stop this "nice guy" routine. He should use Obama's big head as a punching bag, pointing out all of his hypocrisies, flip-flops, lies, distortions and radicalism. The first big stomp he should lay on Obama is his "judgment" being against the war...lies...he was pushed into it, questioned his own decision, and never brought it up again. Then trot out the radical clown car filled with Ayres, Wright, Pfleger, Kashid, Rezko, etc. And then point out that Obama has been WRONG on every decision from Iran to Georgia to "call me if you need me" on the economic crisis.
