is anyone watching the debate? What do you think so far? Who is 'winning'? They don't seem to be answering many audience questions.

Nor did I suggest that it WAS a requirement.

What I DID say was that "we DID decide long ago that the government did owe its citizens a subscription to a few periodicals/newspapers.....that IS one reason taxpayer-funded libraries exist: so that people can access the wealth of human knowledge if they wish, with little or no cost."

I'm well aware that libraries are funded at the local level....but the ubiquity of libraries throughout the country, and the ubiquity of periodicals and newspapers within these libraries is a more than just pretty good indication that this view is widespread and commonly understood - and accepted.

No...Obama has never admitted to being wrong about anything...his ego won't let him. Pretty scary.

What happens when the insurance companies cut your benefits in half, in keeping with BO's cost-cutting idea?

Self-insurance is awesome....if you can do it. But it requires either enormously deep personal pockets....or a pretty large group, which brings with it it's own problems with administration, management, etc.

< "I COMPLETELY know how you feel. McCain has got to take the gloves off and stop this "nice guy" routine."

>>> Huh? If McCain was being nice, what's he like being not nice LOL!

That's what we hope to see soon.

>>> From AP Article entitled "Angrier McCain fails to rattle Obama": "Jabbing his finger and spitting out "that one" instead of naming Barack Obama, John McCain showed an angry side at Tuesday's presidential debate but analysts said it may be too little, too late for the Republican."

I think the analysts said the same thing during the primary...and probably said the same thing a few weeks ago about Obama...let's see how things play out in the next few weeks.

Fortunately we won't have this mentality applied to health care.

Of course we will.....just maybe not right away. The arc of history is long....but it bends toward justice.

I think so too. It's about time that America gets to see the REAL Obama...the ugly underbelly hiding under the elitist veneer.

I presently do this, and do not have great wealth or a pretty large group.
