is anyone watching the debate? What do you think so far? Who is 'winning'? They don't seem to be answering many audience questions.

That is pretty funny – but it’s good to look at some of these heated debates with a sense of humor – lightens things up.

Why do I have no trouble at all believing that?

Some of us have lives.....you have tons of anti-Obama graphics. Different strokes, I guess.

Don't you know, conservatives don't care about anyone other than themselves. Let the uninsured die, it isn't their problem. They don't care not everyone can afford insurance. It isn't their problem. They counter with these people have welfare, except they don't want those "handouts" either. They don't seem to get it, that welfare is only available for two years. They want it both ways. No free health care, no welfare. As for the mentally or physically handicapped, well tough. Their selfishness knows no bounds. I don't want to pay for their war; or to bail out their buddies on Wall Street, but I don't have a choice!!

My guess would be guaranteed coverage for their patients and less hassle from Insurance companies that refuse to cover needed procedures.

I find it odd many physicians who support UHC do not themselves accept Medicaid or SCHIP. A friend who is also a doctor refuses to accept ANY insurance, certainly no Medicare or Medicaid. However she is adamant that universal health care is necessary. Just for other doctors, not her. Would you care to explain this thinking?

That is an excellent question.
