I’m well-versed on the distinctions you are making and what socialism is.

"Removing insurance companies from the health care system does wonders for lowering the overall cost of health care."

"I thought your Medicare was passed through an insurance company."

No it's not, I think that might be a common misconception.

Each province runs it's own health plan, there are no insurance companies involved.

"it is not Canada's "fault" that the US does not have similar price controls."

No, but it is Canada's (and all of Europe's fault that they've cranked down the price controls so much that the us patient is the one that carries the burden.

ROFLOL!

Oh, wait, I should take your opinion seriously, shouldn't I? We're about to elect a new president.

Currently American conservatism is not about a "liberal" market. The Liberals are liberal in terms of social issues. Both the Libertarian party and the Republican Party want a liberal aka "free market" that is, a market without regulation. The Libertarians agree with the Democratic Party in regard to social liberalism. The Democrats are the only party that has always been in favor of market regulation. And therefore aren't responsible for the subsequent greed.

You really can't have it both ways. Either the Democrats are more socialist then Republicans and want stong market regulation OR the Democrats are to blame for the gree and too free, regulation-less market. Which aspect would you prefer to ridicule? Cause if you try blame both ends of the spectrum on the Democrats, you come across as unbelievable.

>>He’ll sell his programs as if they are for the working class, but they will be money grabs for himself and large corporate interests. <<

Isn't that exactly what the Republican party has done for decades? Systematically undermining the middle class while building up corporate interests?
