"As a younger man, Pastor Manning burglarized homes, mostly on Long Island. He spent about three and a half years in prison in New York and Florida for burglary, robbery, larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, and other charges before his release in 1978. While in prison, he became a devout Christian."
Interesting company the McCain/Palin camp is keeping. Burglary, Robbery, Larceny, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Other Charges. Yep talking out of both sides of their mouths these days. Just a stand up man you got there!

Oh no - you forget I have been a republican for 35 years I do know how it works, I've just gotten tired of it in my old age. As long as the individual in question is 'for us' we will find any redeeming quality, no matter how small and then amplify it. Our opponent on the other hand will be scrutinized to find any flaw, no matter how small or irrelevant to the issue, and it will be magnified out of all proportion and tied to either 9/11, Iraq, the war on terror, family value, religion, 'big government, 'tax and spend', or gays.
Yep, been there, done that. I gotta admit though I thought Palin was a new low, and just when you think we have hit bottom someone comes up with the Rev. David Manning 'PhD' except he created his own 'ministry' and gave himself a PhD, maybe he can give Palin a PhD' in foreign affairs and economics!
You betcha - a sterling moment for the 'Grand Old Party' wink wink. :(
Wow. That's the beauty of America. Rewrite your own history and start over. It sounds as if McCain and Palin are trying to take a page out of this guy's book and reinvent themselves as reformers or is it mavericks or is it changers or is it feather rufflers? lol. They don't know, how are we supposed to? lol.
