Well actually if we are going to go back, you need to remember that Clinton and yes the republican congress agreed to the deregulation of the financial system.

However, if you watched the video I posted, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac were being run by Franklin Raines, a man appointed by Bill Clinton, and the representatives in that video were all in defense of this man.
