sure it can...socialism breeds mediocrity, not excellence...it takes from producers and provides to non-producers...it's goal is to achieve the lowest common denominator.
OK - since you're obviously certain that socialism can be labeled "bad" in toto, while capitalism can not (and since this is the same thread in which the sentiment's already been made once): do you believe that any of your fellow citizens who support or advance any socialist ideas or values should be sent to Gitmo and waterboarded?

Not at all. If you and the rest of the Republicans would read up on, and discuss, the issues instead of wasting all your time mudslinging, you might understand that we want an intelligent, competent and invigorating leader who stands up for the middle class. It just so happens that that candidate happens to be a Democrat.
I'm not trying to put words in people's mouths....it's been explicitly stated by one poster here, and not in jest. I'm merely asking if those who participate in this thread and seem to generally support the notion that socialism is always bad ALSO agree with those OTHER views of antisocialist. So far, the crickets have been pleasant to listen to, but I'd prefer some actual responses.
