>>Your party can chant all you like that the republicans are trying to suggest that Obama is a terrorist all you like. Your party is dead wrong. No one has said anything like that.<<
Hah. First of all, I consider myself an independent. Don't assume that just because someone points out a bad strategy used by the Republicans that they must be Democrat. And second of all, saying that someone has "palled around" with terrorists is pretty close to hinting they might be one.
>>Lets remember people that the only govt body with a lower approval rating than Bush is the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS.<<
Just throwing out points entirely unrelated to the discussion at hand now? I don't see how that has any connection, other than to you incorrect assumption that I was a Democrat.

How is "kill him" or "terrorist" - shouted from the stands - a way of "getting tougher and demanding answers" on the FINANCIAL crisis.
Methinks you are seeing what you wish to see, and avoiding that which you do not.
False again. The body which has lower approval ratings than Cellar Dweller Bush is the UNITED STATES CONGRESS, not the 'Democratic Congress'. Low approval numbers for Congress don't just reflect upon one side, but Congress as a whole. And may I take this opportunity to point out - again - that the Republican minority in this Congress - the Senate - has set a record for most filibusters in a session....IN LESS THAN HALF A SESSION. In other words, the GoOPer minority filibustered more bills than ANY other Congress....in HALF the time it took for the PREVIOUS record to be set. Dissatisfaction with Congress largely is a function of the perception (accurate) that the Democrats were swept into the majority in both houses to stop the war and to change direction, and they've been unable to do so in several key ways. But that's because they've been filibustered at every turn - or nearly so - by a mulish, unprecedented-in-history GOP which puts party above country and isn't concerned about locking up ALL progress if they can't get THEIR way.
Fortunately, the polls THIS cycle - much like the last one - reflect a growing understanding on the part of the voting public, contrary to the best efforts of the Wingnut Wurlitzer of Spin™ to place the blame elsewhere, of where that blame for near-complete gridlock belongs: squarely on the obstructionist, naysaying GoOPer Senate. It's why there's a decent chance (though by no means a sure thing) that even Mitch McConnell might take a fall this season, right along with so many other GoOPers in both the House AND the Senate.
