Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power

Sarah did it! The standing Governor of Alaska is found Guilty of Abuse of Power by letting First Dude have so much access to state information, state employees, and making over 19 calls to pressure a state official to fire her BIL out of revenge. It was unlawful, but no charges??

I knew it. She did it as Mayor and got away with it. The McCain camp is making excuses as usual, instead of taking responsibility for her/their actions. Details will be released soon.

No, what you highlighted didn't make that statement untrue. However, the findings were in the FIRST part of the statement which I highlighted. You appear to be trying to imply that she didn't do ANYTHING wrong which is NOT the case.

Accept it...

Actually he was the special prosecutor (kind of like Ken Starr if you remember him) who was also a friend of Walt Madegan - the alleged "victim". He was hired by the head of the panel who is another Democrat Obama supporter to produce, in his words, and "October Surprise". (I just found out all this stuff today, too, after doing a bit of research. It's not easy to weed through because the news stories are confusing).

Here's one news story that helps

and this tells you a bit about the prosecutor:

I made no misstatement... the findings were not mine, the report was not mine and the decision was not mine...

The title of this thread (in case you forgot) is: Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power.

Fact is... she IS. No matter how you decide to twist or turn or spin it... she IS.

Fact is: You are WRONG

The file has grown rather long, I'm afraid.

But if you're up for a November 5th float down memory sewer, it will provide a good deal of enjoyment, I'm certain.

Here's what I am clear on...

Fact 1. - Sarah Palin abused her power in office...

Fact 2. - Sarah Palin was within her rights to fire a member of her cabinet.

The way you are trying to blur the two and smudge them together isn't working for some of us who can read between the line...

The title of this thread (again) is: Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power

Fact is... she IS

Now, YOU must be referring to another thread concerning something else

Riiiiiight.....so - again - why on EARTH would ten GoOPers vote to release such ridiculous stuff?

Still waiting for the answer to that one....

The fact is that this investigation was commissioned on a 14-0 vote of ten GoOPers and four Democrats BEFORE Sarah Palin was a nominee for Veep, meaning it could hardly have been an "Obama plot" at the time....and despite the best efforts of the McSame/Mooseburger ticket to derail, discredit or otherwise simply block the investigation, the entire panel AGAIN voted to make the findings of the investigator public.

I'm getting the sense that that' a bitter pill for some GoOPers to swallow....but - just like the current Bush-led fiscal meltdown - swallow it they must.

The newspaper reports here in Chicago have been saying that the FBI has been asking about Obama as well as our illustrious governor Blagojevich.

Members of the panel have stated that they didn't agree with the conclusions. They only voted on the release of the investigation, not on the validity of the conclusions. Now that it has been released we see that Governor Palin acted within her rights, except in the opinion of her political enemy, should not have allowed her husband to talk to Madegan. So the only thing that she supposedly did wrong was not to stop her husband from talking to this man. Also Todd has testified under oath that Sarah asked him to "drop it". What was she supposed to do, physically restrain him? This is really very silly.
