Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power

Sarah did it! The standing Governor of Alaska is found Guilty of Abuse of Power by letting First Dude have so much access to state information, state employees, and making over 19 calls to pressure a state official to fire her BIL out of revenge. It was unlawful, but no charges??

I knew it. She did it as Mayor and got away with it. The McCain camp is making excuses as usual, instead of taking responsibility for her/their actions. Details will be released soon.

Maybe the report will help, I haven't gotten very far, but so far I can see some problems with the way this is being reported by some.

What is silly to me is that some people simply cannot stand to hear that she did ANYTHING wrong... and, to think that a panel could disagree with findings and conclusions and allow to be released anyway... now THAT is silly

Well it looks as though Rezko is about to sing. Man oh man are there going to be some major casualties on this one.

Yeah, probably....But not the one you want:
Jailed political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko, the Chicago real estate developer who helped launch Barack Obama on his political career, is whispering secrets to federal prosecutors about corruption in Illinois and the political fallout could be explosive.

Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich, whose administration faces multiple federal investigations over how it handed out jobs and money with advice from Rezko, is considered the most vulnerable.

Rezko also was friendly with Obama — offering him a job when he finished law school, funding his earliest political campaigns and purchasing a lot next to his house. But based on the known facts, charges so far and testimony at Rezko's trial, there's no indication there'll be an October surprise that could hurt the Democratic presidential nominee — even though Rezko says prosecutors are pressing him for dirt about Obama.

"I think this strikes fear into the Blagojevich administration and the Statehouse Democrats but not into the Obama campaign," says state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Westmont, a John McCain delegate to the GOP convention but an old friend of Obama.

Um, the alleged victim's name was Walt MONEGAN, not "Madegan."

Your grasp of facts and nuance remains consistent.

Why not release it?

She welcomed the investigation when it first started. It was originally to be investigated by the personnel board, which has the proper legal jurisdiction for cases like this. When she was nominated for V.P., this then became a political circus. The Obama team sent a team of 30 lawyers to assist in the witch hunt. Some hacks for Obama moved the investigation to a legislative council headed by Obama supporters and political enemies of Palin. They hired a friend of Monegan's to conduct the investigation. It is no wonder she has called foul. This whole thing stinks like yesterday's diapers. (to quote "baby" in Roger Rabbit).

Yes.....asking, but not GETTING, since there's nothing to "get." (see my other reply with the linked AP article).
