Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power

Sarah did it! The standing Governor of Alaska is found Guilty of Abuse of Power by letting First Dude have so much access to state information, state employees, and making over 19 calls to pressure a state official to fire her BIL out of revenge. It was unlawful, but no charges??

I knew it. She did it as Mayor and got away with it. The McCain camp is making excuses as usual, instead of taking responsibility for her/their actions. Details will be released soon.

Why would they not want to release it? Have you read the findings? What she supposedly did wrong was not stop her husband from talking to Madegan. That doesn't seem very damaging to me. I think it would be bad if they chose NOT to release it. It would lead people to wonder what there was to hide.

I'm not sure that I completely agree with the second part of Schieffer's statement, but I sure do agree with the rest.

Oh, my goodness! You've stumped me - and I have to stand corrected...and somewhat abashed....at assuming that you would be hoping that the investigators talking to Tony Rezko would find damaging information on Barack Obama.

Perhaps it was the "BooHoo" logo in your signature. Or the "NObama" one. Or the "Just Say NObama '08" one. I have to confess, those threw me for a bit of a loop. I can see know I made an error in assuming from those things - and your collected posts regarding Obama - that you'd be "hoping" for those investigators to come back with damaging information on Obama. My humblest apologies, truly.

So, having realized the error of my ways, I'm forced to admit that even if - or perhaps ESPECIALLY if - I DO suspect something, I ought to just ask, instead of assuming that I'm correct. Those kind of assumptions are frankly just arrogant and presumptuous of me, since we don't really know each other, and I've no way whatsoever to divine the contents of your mind, or, more importantly, your heart.

So, after humbly admitting my mistake, and plaintively begging your forgiveness, I'll just ASK: were/are you hoping that the Rezko investigators turn up something damaging on Obama?

Nope, wasn't hoping for a thing.

What difference does it make?

I strongly urge you to write in Ron Paul - or vote for Bob Barr, a true libertarian as well. Either would be a fine choice for a fiscal conservative such as yourself. You are correct that you'll find no solace in the big-spending ways of the Democratic nominee, but neither will your agenda be best served by that serial flip-flopper (and far too tepid, wishy-washy conservative) John McCain. No, for people with your political inclinations, ONLY a vote for Ron Paul (or Bob Barr) will do. Vote your conscience!
