Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power

Sarah did it! The standing Governor of Alaska is found Guilty of Abuse of Power by letting First Dude have so much access to state information, state employees, and making over 19 calls to pressure a state official to fire her BIL out of revenge. It was unlawful, but no charges??

I knew it. She did it as Mayor and got away with it. The McCain camp is making excuses as usual, instead of taking responsibility for her/their actions. Details will be released soon.

That is incorrect. The committee did not agree on the conclusions, just to release the report.

There was no "investigating committee". The investigation was done by ONE man (special prosecutor) who happened to be a Democrat public Obama supporter. The committee did not agree on the conclusions of this one man, only that the report should be released.

Here's one of the stories from MSNBC:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27105917/

..."After a court fight to block the report failed, the panel of lawmakers voted to release it — though not without dissension. The panel did not vote on whether to endorse its findings."...

..."I think there are some problems in this report," said Republican state Sen. Gary Stevens, a member of the panel. "I would encourage people to be very cautious, to look at this with a jaundiced eye."...

...The Legislature could vote next year to censure Palin, but committee members appeared divided over the report and Democratic state Sen. Kim Elton, the committee's chairman, gave no indication that would happen.

Stapleton also dismissed the report as "a partisan-led inquiry run by Obama supporters." The inquiry has been dogged by such criticism since Democrat Hollis French, who oversaw the investigation, predicted an "October surprise" for the McCain campaign."...

I'm sorry, but what legal or executive capacity does being "First Dud" allow one in Alaska?

Sarah "asked him to drop it?" According to whom? Himself? So (even if true)? She cc'ed the man on official state business he had NO business being involved with. And she is ultimately responsible for what goes on in her administration, including if she unwisely and unlawfully chooses to loop her husband into the process and then either can't control him, doesn't know what he's doing, or actively encourages his personal vendettas (so that she can "keep her hands 'clean' ").

Nope, more like: Governor, control your administration.

It wasn't the very same thing. Rose was in a ( which is uncharacteristic, btw) particularly nasty mood that day and actually called people "stupid" -and used those words. Asking someone to "learn the facts" was appropriate and not the same thing as saying "you are stupid". Big difference. So, whatever you were trying to accomplish... isn't flying...
