Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power

Sarah did it! The standing Governor of Alaska is found Guilty of Abuse of Power by letting First Dude have so much access to state information, state employees, and making over 19 calls to pressure a state official to fire her BIL out of revenge. It was unlawful, but no charges??

I knew it. She did it as Mayor and got away with it. The McCain camp is making excuses as usual, instead of taking responsibility for her/their actions. Details will be released soon.

Alicia, I said it because those aren't the questions I asked! Not even close, but thanks for posting information I was well aware of already.

I don't know what is going on here, but you responded to post #242 in this thread, accusing me of a nasty post to you.

I stand corrected, those were not questions you asked, they were mistakes/misunderstadings/misinterpretations of the report and the panel.

>>> Obama bought his house before he ran for the Senate. So your information is incorrect.

Sorry, but you're wrong...again...Obama was sworn in as a senator on January 4, 2005. He submitted his first bid for the house on January 21 and closed on June 15, 2005...coincidentally on the same day that Rita Rezko closed on the lot next door.

>>> Are you denying McCain has 13 homes? He has admitted so himself.

McCain owns no homes in his name. There are 11 properties that are held by the Family Trust, other corporations or partnerships. Some are the homes of family members, some rental properties, and undoubtedly some for use by McCain and friends including their primary residence in Arizona.
http://www.nytimes.com/ref/us/politics/mccain-properties.html?ref=politics

>>> I don't remember how many cars he agreed he had, but it wasn't liberals whining about anything.

Actually, McCain has only one car registered in his name. Cindy, a car collecter and racer, owns 11. It was also said that the Obama's only have one car registered in their names. This must make things pretty difficult when Barry needs to use the car in Washington and Michelle has to walk to work and the kids have to walk to school. Conversely, it's probably an amusing sight when Michelle gets the car and Barry can be found "thumbing it" around Washington. LOL!

>>> It was simply pointing out McCain's numerous homes are worth much more than Obama's one house.

Actually, they were trying to do much more than that...they were trying to ebb the elitist title that Obama had earned and make him seem like a "man of the people"...with a $2Million dollar home. They failed.

>>> Obama used Rezko's realtor when looking at the house.

Right...naturally Obama turned to a guy with whom he has a long political history...and who's being investigated by the US Attorney General and the FBI. That's the kind of real estate agent I'd pick...but then again, he probably knew he needed a shady agent to get a deal he could afford.

>>> Like anyone else buying a home, he bargained for the best deal possible. He did not pay $300,000 under market value for his home.

Yes, he did. And coincidentally...when the owners insisted on a joint sale and closing of the house AND the lot next door, Rezko's wife, who makes $35K a year, just happened to have an extra $125K in her piggy bank and was MORE than happy to assume a $500K mortgage to make Barry's dreams come true. Kool-aid anyone?

>>> The price for the adjoining lot was determined by both Rezko and Obama. You are incorrect in saying the price was set by Obama. You are also incorrect in saying the property was devalued.

Actually...surprise...no again. Obama has stated that HE devised the price for the property. And since Rezko bought it to make Obama happy, it's unlikely that they would have refused his price...after all, he was kind enough to have his gardener mow the property for them.

>>> Obama bought his home in the same manner as everyone else, in spite of conservatives trying to prove otherwise. He is so much more honest and honorable than McCain or Palin.

Well, you might be right...IF McCain had bought his home with the help of a long time political contributer who was under investigation by the US Attorney and the FBI...and who had arranged to contribute $625K to make the house deal happen. Oops...but McCain didn't do that...Obama did.

>>> Obama has never distanced himself from his grandmother. I don't know your sources of information, but they are seriously flawed.

Oh, sorry...I guess in Barry's world, calling his grandmother a racist and "a typical white person" is a way of showing affection.

>>> You might try other non-biased sources, as they fed you a bunch of lies. Shame on them.

Yeah, the networks and major newspapers can be pretty shady like that.

>>> Obama is not a "scumbag politician".

Shady backroom deals...consorting with many, many unsavory characters...a liar...yeah, Barry sounds like a scumbag politician to me.

>>> Unlike McCain, he hasn't been in Washington long enough to become as tainted as McCain.

McCain has a distinguished record of bipartisanship and working for the people...but Barry? Not so much. In his short time in the Senate, he's managed to earn the most liberal voting record...he votes along party lines 97% of the time...he's racked up nearly a BILLION dollars in earmarks...he's taken the second most money from Fannie and Freddie...and has done absolutely NOTHING of any political significance in his entire career except run for other things. Imagine the damage he could do if he were in Washington as long as McCain.

The Legislative Committee is legally impotent on matters of this nature. It was an investigation properly conducted by the Personnel Board.

>>> I have been waiting for answers to questions I posed, but haven't gotten answers yet. The false superior attitude of some conservatives,is laughable.

It's nice you responded...kind of...but sad that you couldn't acknowledge that the point was proven and that you were wrong...again.

Based on the level of desperation by the conservatives on this board in the last few days, I'd say it's they
