Sarah Palin: GUILTY of Abuse of Power
| Fri, 10-10-2008 - 10:18pm |
Sarah did it! The standing Governor of Alaska is found Guilty of Abuse of Power by letting First Dude have so much access to state information, state employees, and making over 19 calls to pressure a state official to fire her BIL out of revenge. It was unlawful, but no charges??
I knew it. She did it as Mayor and got away with it. The McCain camp is making excuses as usual, instead of taking responsibility for her/their actions. Details will be released soon.

So unless you have information that the NY Times got it wrong, I'm gonna go with "unanimous."
It may be that a few Republicans had concern about the release of the report...but it appears that none of their concerns rose to the level of voting against the release of the findings.
Try again.
Ask her if Bill Clinton was "guilty" (by those rules) of either having sex with Monica Lewinsky OR of lying to congress and the American people about it.
After all, though he was impeached, that only means that the House of Representatives (which was dominated by Republicans) voted to send charges of impeachment to the Senate. The Senate voted AGAINST removing Clinton from office....in other words, he was acquitted. And, to date, no criminal charges have ever been filed against the former President in the matter. So I'd be curious to hear what "hockeymom's" answer to that question would be, given her rather surprising assertion that one cannot be "guilty" of anything that one hasn't been TRIED for.
I love watching people's heads pop in frustration. ;o)
Read again what you highlighted. "The legislative council ended up voting unanimously to make PART of the overall report public."
Since most of the report was complimentary to Palin that does not surprise me. The unfavorable OPINIONS that the DEMORAT OBAMA SUPPORTER panel of the committee came up with is most probably where the dissension came into play.

No, dear. The part of the report which was made public is the part which does not contain extensive personal information on many of the participants and subjects of the report. That is stated at the outset, and was done to protect (as indicated by law) the private and personal information of participants and subjects of the inquiry.
Nice try.
Exactly my point...
By not "having it both ways" that would mean that all people are held to the same standards. There are SOME, though, in my opinion, that only see things THEIR way and will twist and turn things to suit themselves regardless of what the facts are.
Personally, I think we have had far too many of that type leading the country and they want to turn around and have another four years of the same type as leaders?
It seems like we always elect the "lesser of two evils" when voting. Truth be known, we are all human and No one (even the spinners) is perfect.
We'll have to wait and see but Ihave MY reasons for voting the way I am and it has to do with a HUGE twisting, turning, omitting, cover-up of facts and I do not want that man leading the country I live in. I'll move to another country if he is elected!
I am not your "dear". Some sources say the vote was not unanimous, and your source says that it was unanimous for "part" of the report....
