No, there is no validity to the Indonesian as uurosiegirl has now explained twice. Even if he were born in Kenya, his mom was a us citizen, so therefore he is too. The judge simply held that Obama must produce the requested docs, that is all.

Dastardly Democrats.

There is that, but even if he were born in Siberia, the fact that his mom was a citizen makes him one. That is why this strikes me as odd.

Yes, thanks, I found this:

"In a lawsuit styled Berg v. Obama, lawyers for Barack Hussein Obama have filed a Motion for Protective Order, seeking to block discovery until his motion to dismiss is ruled on by the court. The Motion for Protective Order filed by Obama and the Democratic National Committee, asks the court to issue a protective order stopping "all discovery in this action pending the Court's decision on defendant's motion to dismiss the action for lack of subject matter jurisdiction and for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted."" http://tallahassee.injuryboard.com/miscellaneous/barack-obama-seeks-to-block-discovery-in-citizenship-lawsuit.aspx?googleid=249142

I too thought it was a slam dunk, his mom is a citizen, so he is a citizen.

Yes, although I have never come across the 1 parent vs 2 parents being citizen(s) being an issue IRL, so I am really not sure what that is all about. I would think that special circumstances would have to obtain in order for a parent to be denied claiming his/her child as a citizen.

According to uurosiegirl a parent cannot renounce a child's citizenship. This would make sense to me, but it may be wrong, I won't claim to be sure here. If uu-girl is wrong, the question would be whether Obama's mom ever renounced her citizenship or had it withdrawn, I guess. At the same time, Obama moved back to the US as a minor and I assume his grandparents must have been his legal guardians at that point, so what does that mean?

OMG! ROTFLMAO!!! Does that mean that he wasn't born in a tent in the middle of the desert with the title "sheik"?
