"ok how is Obama going to appease the upset voters?"

I don't know what you are talking about.

Obama is going to try to come up with some solutions to the economic and foreign policy mess the Republicans have left us with. Here are a few "new" things to try that the Republicans have proven themselves incapable of doing:

1. Responsible, effective regulation to prevent abusive practices and lawbreaking by private corporations.

2. Enforcing the law against companies that violate it, regardless of politics.

3. Stop trying to use government as a tool to favor buddies.

4. Start picking responsible, qualified people as officials. Case in point: compare Biden versus Palin.

5. Start trying to use diplomacy instead of bashing other countries with our military and bashing our military in the process.

6. Start investing for real in alternative energy instead of sucking up to Bush, McCain and Palin's buds in the oil industry.

7. Start helping the Middle Class instead of throwing all the goodies at the super-rich.

Has anyone stopped to think that perhaps one of these bitter McC supporters did this?

ACORN hires addicts and convicts, pays them by the number if names they collect, sends them out onto the street to collect names without supervision or oversight, and fails to check the names they collect for duplications and obvious fraud.

Acorn does seem to have some real problems with this voter registration fraud thing, and those responsible should be punished.

Acorn was established for good reasons, and there are without a doubt some very bad apples working there co-opting the original intent.

I have just never seen you or anyone else make your point that somehow Obama is responsible for all this - no matter how many times you post it.

A lot of people and organizations support the principles of Acorn - a lot of reputable people and organizations.

Your assertions regarding ACORN are misleading and overblown.

1. No one, including anyone on this board, has ever connected the registration fraud at ACORN to a single fraudulent vote. The ACORN folks unfortunately got paid by the registration. That was what created the bad behavior.

2. Even assuming for the sake of argument that ACORN's false voter registrations could cause some fraudulent votes, which again is not the case, the effect would be cancelled out twenty times over by the fraud we are seeing from Republicans in blocking millions of voters. More reality: http://www.democracynow.org/2008/10/9/greg_palast_on_vote_rigging_and Yes this link shows bad behavior on each side, with about 99% of the bad behavior on the Republican side.

3. You haven't even linked Obama to ACORN. They are not affiliated. If you want to look at the bad stuff on the Republican side who are not affiliated to McCain, they are far more numerous.

Bottom line, we should be talking about Republican voter fraud, not Democratic voter fraud. http://www.democracynow.org/2008/10/9/greg_palast_on_vote_rigging_and
