Huh - I could have sworn we were talking about Republicans voting for Obama, not whether Obama's qualified to be President. Seems you change the subject whenever the facts start going against you.
Or are Eisenhower and Buckley just not "your kind" of Republican?
Really? Under the name "hockeymom...?" Cool! Can you link me to a few of her posts during the '04 election? I'd be really curious to see how her stated point of view from that time has evolved until today. Thanks in advance!
Or is this a reincarnation of one of our old friends?
Well, since there is no other viable candidate that is exactly what I plan to do. Can John McCain stop me? At this point there is not enough time left for him to make the changes he would have to make to win me back. If there was another viable candidate I would vote for him but there isn't so it boils down to vote for Obama or vote for McCain. I voted for him once, this spring, he has let me down rather badly so no more. I am not going to be party to what is happening in his campaign. I will not support it. Maybe, just maybe, if enough people take a stand the message will be received.
