Now there is a frightening comparison to Hitler, but it isn't BO doing it. His followers can do some creepy things.

Heavens, no! It's just so rare to get someone who's been here so long...and it's always interesting to me to see what people thought during a past election, compared to what they think now, given whatever's happened in between. The Internet is a unique place to do that...all anyone has to do is provide the right link, and the past comes alive. And, as both you and hockeymom have gone out of your way(s) to convince me of her longevity here, I was just thinking it'd be fascinating to see some of those old posts!

So...hockeymom? Got a few?

Naw.

You said you were not "buying" the idea that a Republican would vote for Obama. Actually, the specific quote was "There is no way someone is a republican and votes for the most liberal Senator."

I gave you three. You disqualified one of them on the technicality that, when the election happens, he will have been freshly registered as an independent for about four months, despite having been a Republican officeholder for years. But the other two, you didn't really have any answer for, except "oh, they need the press..."

Again - are they, or are they NOT both LIFELONG Republicans?

Uh-huh.

I'll take that as an "I don't have any links to posts of mine older than a few weeks."

Thanksferplayin'.
