Right wing hatred becoming really scary!

What is up with this garbage? McCain and Palin have to put their foot down to stop this. McCain bears some responsibility because his campaign has fostered nasty rude attacks that dehumanize Obama. But at least McCain was man enough to realize the monster he has created and McCain tried to calm down his angry mobs of supporters.
Palin, on the other hand, doesn't seem to know or care how to act like a decent human being. She is really scary.

Think so? Then go to McCains website and try to post a negative comment and see if it post. It doesn't because the site doesn't let them, so there you go. I guess it is far worse.

Well you are certainly entitled to your pov.
My perspective is that you've got a whole bunch of people on Fox "not" News and right-wing radio like Hannity, Rush, O'Relly, Coulter, Savage and others who whip people up by comparing Obama to terrorists. Rick Davis was on this morning doing it. And the truth is it's so blatant and uncouth that this time it's backfiring. The right-wing slime hatred machine is backfiring to the point where even Billy Kristol, a Fox slimeball who has been wrong on every major issue, is admitting it's backfiring and encouraging McCain to stop with the low blows:

Watch it and please do explain how Kristol, the king of low blows, is not admitting against his interest that McCain is hitting low. Even Karl Rove, for heavens sake, said that McCain is lying. David Brooks called out McCain and the Republicans for dumbing down into the chip on the shoulder movement. Parker called for Palin to flat out resign. George Will has had it with McCain's erratic antics.
It's that bad. I am not making this stuff up. These are your own people. They know. There is a reason McCain is falling like a stone in the polls. Except for the right-wing hard core people like the ones who post pictures comparing Obama to Hitler and then say everybody does it, people are gagging on the McCain campaign's hate. It's inciting violence and threats and mob-like behavior in the hard core base. And the rest of us are gagging on it.
McCain is trying to be the Bush that whooped him in 2000 and he doesn't know how to do it. McCain's gone totally overboard to where his tactics are disgustingly transparent rather than deviously effective.
1. Again, I don't think you are being fair here at all.
You might find this site fun. This guy has gone through Chapter 2 of Slander and analyzed the footnotes.

This hits close to home for me. I had some close personal friends, that over the past few years, have become right-wing religious extremists. This happened over a period of time. I've had to remove them gradually from my life. All they do is preach about politics, Christianity, how much they hate gays, lesbians and Democrats, etc. Its tiresome to listen to but also has become frightening. I may read in the paper one day that they've been arrested for planting bombs. I just really don't know. They have changed and become completely different people than they were 10 years ago.
