What is up with this garbage? McCain and Palin have to put their foot down to stop this. McCain bears some responsibility because his campaign has fostered nasty rude attacks that dehumanize Obama. But at least McCain was man enough to realize the monster he has created and McCain tried to calm down his angry mobs of supporters.

Palin, on the other hand, doesn't seem to know or care how to act like a decent human being. She is really scary.

it actually has nothing to do with business and economy at all, but strictly due to the positive impact an obama win will have on the majority of people in this country, and the rest of the world. so much of the rest of the world has lost faith in us and respect for us, we are no longer the world leader and economy that we were 8 years ago. when they see that we havent chosen 4 more years of the same, this will boost their confidence in us once again.

and that's why i

Try it.

Drop in on, say, a New York Times or Newsweek or Time Magazine bulletin board, and post up the latter sentiment you voiced.

Let us know what happens, if they allow you Internet access.

OMG! What a conglomeration of confusion. No one is being hypocritical, because they would never have an abortion, but refuse to judge others for their CHOICES. It isn't being judgmental! Quite the opposite.

How vicious? By claiming you know the Obama's beliefs. It may surprise you to learn; not all liberals are pro-choice. Conversely, not all conservatives are pro-life. So, for you to jump to conclusions about what the Obama's would do, in the snide way you posted, was mean spirited, and a vicious attack on them.

You have no idea what the Obama's would choose to do. It is beyond ridiculous, to think every pro-choicer would choose to have an abortion if faced with an unwanted pregnancy. That isn't hypocritical at all. It's being pro-CHOICE. The CHOICE is choosing what to do..keep the baby, give it up for adoption or abortion...hence the CHOICE. Your assertion, people get abortions for convenience, demonstrates a lack of understanding and of empathy.

Again you are wrong! I am NOT hypocritical. Pro-lifers sit as judge and jury, and try to force their opinions/beliefs on others. What gives pro-lifers the right? I would do my best to try to talk someone out of getting an abortion, but in the end, it's their CHOICE...not mine.

You are missing the point! If the situation was completely reversed, as I already described, Obama never would have been nominated, because they are BLACK...NOT because they are pro-choice. Let me give you some other examples. If Obama had been the one to cheat on his wife for three years, divorced, re-married to the woman he had the affair with, you can be sure he never would have been nominated. If Michelle had been the one to steal thousands of dollars from a charitable organization, to support her drug habit, she would be in jail. Being white and rich, does buy you privileges. BTW: I am white.

Please refrain from insulting me in future posts. TIA.

Not everyone knows Barack's nickname in college, was Barry. It has nothing to do with not knowing her candidate. It would have been nicer to just answer her question. His legal name is not Barry Hussein Obama. I'm sure you know that.

Okay, gotcha!

I gotta be honest with you, I'm MORE than ready for a new president too. Just not Obama; to me he seems further to the left than anyone our country has ever experienced. IMO that is not something our country needs, especially now, and especially if he has the full support of a liberal majority in congress.

If you're ready for a new president, then why would you vote for McCain? Both he and Palin are even more to the right than Bush is. McCain supports almost all of Bush's policies. Obama is actually more of a centrist. Just as McCain isn't showing how far right he really is, Obama isn't showing he isn't as far left as he's showing. That's politics!
