What is up with this garbage? McCain and Palin have to put their foot down to stop this. McCain bears some responsibility because his campaign has fostered nasty rude attacks that dehumanize Obama. But at least McCain was man enough to realize the monster he has created and McCain tried to calm down his angry mobs of supporters.

Palin, on the other hand, doesn't seem to know or care how to act like a decent human being. She is really scary.

<< Surely you feel Obama bears some responsibility because he paid ACORN $800,000 to get out the vote for him.>>

Have you seen a fact check on that? From what I read, the campaign paid that amount to Citizens Service, Inc., a firm that, in turn, paid about $80,000 to ACORN.

I think McCain again called Obama a liar without first checking the facts. Poor judgment again by McCain.

Good way to launder the money. Don't you find it a tad ironic that the firm turned around and then donated, or at least a bit suspicious?

Good grief, there are nuts on both sides.

And I don't think it's just the right wing who are angry. I think most everyone in this country is angry because we have been deceived by our politicians and left paying the bills for their corruption.

Here are a few examples of the "love" shown by the left.

I'll tell you why McCain should not tolerate that sort of hate speech at his own rallies: because we live in a country that has a history of political assassination, and that sort of speech is exactly the kind which has been spoken by the kinds of people who are prone to commit it. And even though (obviously) not everyone who shouts "terrorist!" or "kill him!" at a rally will pick up a gun or a bomb and try to actually DO it, if McCain allows that sort of language to pass by unquestioned or unchallenged at his own campaign rallies, then he owns it, by tacit approval.

Sure, people have the right to free speech. But there's a reason why the Secret Service opened an investigation into who shouted "kill him" at that one Palin rally - because there's a difference between saying "George Bush is the worst President in history" and saying "I think George Bush should be shot" (or "kill him"). I promise you, if you go to publicly-available bulletin boards, such as the major news websites' boards, and start posting up sentiments like "someone ought to shoot Barack Obama," you will likely receive a visit from the Secret Service and/or the FBI, looking into who you are and why you've made such comments, providing they become aware of it. Here are a couple of examples. The Secret Service takes seriously any and all threats of such a nature...because history has demonstrated that they SHOULD, just like the TSA tells you when you fly that they take ALL comments about "bombs" or "hijacking" seriously.....so don't joke about it.

What is wrong with calling Obama by his full name? Why do people have a problem with this? It implies that he should be ashamed of his name.

No, it doesn't. I doubt seriously whether Obama is "ashamed" of his name, nor would I characterize the comments of people who draw attention to those who point out right-wingers' use of his full name (with the emphasis on the HUSSEIN) to be suggesting that Obama OUGHT to be "ashamed."

Here's why: do you - or any of the various people recorded on audio or video tape at McCain rallies or TV interviews, referring to Barack HUSSEIN Obama, call McCain "John SIDNEY McCain" on a regular basis? If any of them do, then they are excused from what I'm about to say. But I've followed this election cycle rather obsessively, and I've yet to hear anyone regularly refer to McCain with his full legal name, except in conditions which require it. The insertion of "HUSSEIN" into Obama's name can therefore be seen as ONLY an attempt to dog-whistle to people the inference that he shares an Arab-y sounding name with a man who's universally reviled in America, the former dictator of Iraq. Imagine, for a moment, if John McCain's middle name were not "Sidney," but instead, say....."Manson" - let's say it was an old family name or something; maybe his mother's maiden name. What would you think was the message if Democratic strategists and Obama campaign operatives (as well as just members of the crowds at Obama rallies) went around calling McCain "John MANSON McCain, even in casual situations where they did NOT use any other candidate's middle name? Would you be asking "what's wrong with that?" Or "gee, why is anyone upset about it?" Or would your reaction be much different?

If you have evidence of money laundering or campaign illegalities, you should immediately report them to the FEC, not argue about them with random liberals on an Internet message board.

Here's their web site: http://fec.gov/

Have at it.
