Maybe they think McCain may finally lose it completely and deck Obama....It's possible since they will be sitting at a table.

Clam's voting for Obama.....I think he's worried Palin wants to throw him in the back of the car with the King Crab and the moose, and eat his a$$.

You know.....I have been waiting for the legendary McCain temper to explode under the stress of this campaign. So far, it hasn't happened (or, if it has, it's been away from the reporters and kept VERY hush-hush). But there is a long list of Congresspeople and Senators FROM MCCAIN'S OWN PARTY who have letters of apology from McCain in their filing cabinets from one era or another. The list isn't a short one, either. He's well known for having a short fuse, and there's nothing like the grueling grind and stress of a Presidential campaign to bring that sort of problem dashing to the fore.

It's been rumored in more than one place that Bill Clinton's got a temper, too....but he's in-control of it enough that it hasn't been displayed in front of the media, or in critical situations. If McCain can get through this election without a blow-up, I'll think more of his ability to control his temper. But given the stories out there that people ARE willing to go on-record about, I'd say it's still 50/50 whether Mt. McCain will erupt in fiery fury between now and the fourth.

We'll have to see. Tonight might be the night.

For that very reason and the "hints" from the McCain staff, I am "debating" with myself on whether to even watch tonight.
