Atrocious to Smear a Private Citizen

I think it is atrocious for the press to try to smear a private citizen who merely used his first amendment rights to question a candidate! He didn't ask for all this attention, and he has not stated who he will be voting for, but since John McCain received some points in the debate last night about an exchange "Joe the Plumber" had with Barack Obama the press is out to destroy this man. Good Grief! The man is a plumber! An average citizen. Now the left wing is trying to vilify him like he's George Bush! How HORRIBLE! And the extremists on the left seem to be following in lock step. No compassion for an ordinary man UNLESS he shares their socialist viewpoint. This is about as dirty as it gets!

The "left wing" is not out to smear Joe the Plumber.

So he's fair game to destroy if McCain uses this story in a debate? He didn't ask for this attention, nor did he know he would get it. This is simply terrible, HORRIBLE.

Here's an interview from him this morning on ABC. This interview was fine, but by what he said they determined that he wasn't thrilled with Obama's plan or with Socialism. Once they determined this they went after him in an effort to DESTROY HIM.

You can tell by the interview that he had no idea how evil the press could be if he didn't follow lock step with the left wing socialist agenda. What came after this interview is lower than the smears that they did on Bill Clinton's victims, because this guy wasn't even trying to harm Obama.

He didn't use "Joe" for political gain, he used him as an example of Obama's punitive tax policies and how they will harm small business. Obama doesn't want that fact exposed, so he's attacking this citizen. What a gutless coward.

I'm sure that he's being vilified in other media, but Sawyer didn't seem to be attacking the guy in this particular interview, and he seemed to hold his own pretty well.

McCain should have KNOWN that a PRIVATE CITIZEN who didn't do anything intentionally to harm anyone would be SMEARED if John McCain used his story in a debate??? Real people's names are used often in debates. Please cite me ONE example in the past where an unassuming private citizen was vilified because of it! This is OVER THE TOP!

The man had NO IDEA he was going to be the subject of the debate. Watch this interview.
