Atrocious to Smear a Private Citizen

I think it is atrocious for the press to try to smear a private citizen who merely used his first amendment rights to question a candidate! He didn't ask for all this attention, and he has not stated who he will be voting for, but since John McCain received some points in the debate last night about an exchange "Joe the Plumber" had with Barack Obama the press is out to destroy this man. Good Grief! The man is a plumber! An average citizen. Now the left wing is trying to vilify him like he's George Bush! How HORRIBLE! And the extremists on the left seem to be following in lock step. No compassion for an ordinary man UNLESS he shares their socialist viewpoint. This is about as dirty as it gets!

>> Blame McCain for dragging Joe into it and trying to use him for political gain.
Sickening??????
Huh? She was
Maybe John McCain should have asked him first, especially since McCain had never even met or talked to the guy.
Bull-crappery of the highest order.
John McCain - not Barack Obama, not "the media" - brought up ol' Tax-Evadin' Joe the Unlicensed Plumber in last night's debate. Repeatedly. And this morning, Joe chose to hold an impromptu press conference on his lawn, to pontificate in a folksy way about his thoughts on the economy, Barack Obama, and the general direction of things. We are less than three weeks away from the most important election of our lifetimes, and this man chose to insert HIMSELF (by choosing to speak at length with the press) into the campaign. I imagine he might very well be regretting that decision...but, to paraphrase John McCain: "actions have consequences." And the consequences of HIS actions - or, more accurately, his words - are that the media has done some basic fact-checking to see what this man's life is really like. And, as it turns out, he's registered as a member of the Natural Law Party (LOL), and a tax-evader.
Sounds like he ought to have been a Republican to me. He and Governor Barbie McMooseburger sound like soul-mates. And, with any luck, they could even be cell-mates (depending upon the outcome of the OTHER "troopergate" investigation - for which Governor Mooseburger is being interviewed this week). ;o)

Bullcrap.
You OWE the longevity of your right to freedom of speech to liberals.
He had no idea how evil the press could be if he didn't follow lock step with the left wing socialist agenda.
I certainly didn't get THAT from the interview you posted.
I just watched the interview that Chilly posted.
Obama's attacking this citizen (I assume you mean Joe)?
