Atrocious to Smear a Private Citizen

I think it is atrocious for the press to try to smear a private citizen who merely used his first amendment rights to question a candidate! He didn't ask for all this attention, and he has not stated who he will be voting for, but since John McCain received some points in the debate last night about an exchange "Joe the Plumber" had with Barack Obama the press is out to destroy this man. Good Grief! The man is a plumber! An average citizen. Now the left wing is trying to vilify him like he's George Bush! How HORRIBLE! And the extremists on the left seem to be following in lock step. No compassion for an ordinary man UNLESS he shares their socialist viewpoint. This is about as dirty as it gets!

I'm confused. Do you think this is this man's life is fair game to destroy?

>>He is an INNOCENT VICTIM.

He is not an innocent victim if he agreed to do the interviews. Your argument is ridiculous.

He is being "smeared" because he offered to do interviews, not just one either.

You "suspect" that the right would be looking into the background of an average citizen to smear them, but you can't cite me one example of any time this has ever happened.

I could see the left looking into this man's background to see if he had any ties to McCain and if they found that it would be perfectly legitimate to expose it. That's not what happened.

What did happen is UNPRECEDENTED, AND OVER THE TOP WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

Oh, c'mon, you know how it works, the right is the evil and does everything wrong. We have no morals or principles, we don't believe in any ethical debate, and there is nothing but liars and crooks who don't care anything about anybody that doesn't profit us. Isn't that how the left portrays us to be? ;) I guess that caring about an unborn child is not an ethical trait to have, as is making sure that we have most of our money that we have worked for in our own pockets, and ensuring that our country is safe for all is not ethical. The last I knew ethical means that you have morals and principals by which you live and work...i think they forgot to factor in the democratic side of ethical.

THE PRESS CHASED HIM DOWN! He wasn't out there offering to do interviews! That is pretty evident by the one I posted. He is a normal guy who did what most normal people would do when suddenly barraged by the press. He was humble, and was NOT playing to this.

Until today the left hadn't gone after anyone that didn't put themselves in the position in the first place, on purpose. This guy was INNOCENT. He is now a VICTIM. It is truly disgusting.

And do you have the power to read this man's mind? How do you know what he is hoping?

No he was not. He was very humble. He is indeed a victim. I find it disgusting.
