Try me.

Can you dig a little deeper or do you close your mind after hearing McBush? Did you look at the link I provided? Did you do your research? Or do you, like the McCain campaign, expect me to be a dummy and just believe everything that comes out of your mouth?

YOU can cut to the chase, but I will not. We liberals aren't stupid--we research, think things through, anlayze the pros and cons for ourselves AND for our fellow Americans, and then we decide.

"Even if he did buy Newell Plumbing and Heating, Obama’s tax plan wouldn’t affect him. While Wurzelbacher told Obama that he would be taxed at a higher rate because the company grossed more than $250,000 a year, Ohio business records show the company’s estimated total annual revenue as only $100,000. Actual taxable income would be even less than that.

In any event, Obama’s tax plan specifies that the higher rate would apply only to income above the $250,000 threshold. Assuming Wurzelbacher’s income as owner somehow hit $280,000 — the top end of his supposition of the company’s revenue — only the extra $30,000 would be taxed at a higher rate."

Apparently there is no plan to add taxes to small businesses. The increase is the same increase already discussed on personal income above 250K. So, this would only affect small business owners who are able to take home 250K+ a year from running the business.

Right now I would be willing to vote for Donald Duck if it would keep McCain out of the White House so I sincerely doubt there is anything you could find about Obama that would dissuade me. I have never in all my 50 years seen a nastier campaign than McCain's. I have never, in all my 50 years, seen a poorer choice of a running mate than Palin. I have never, in all my 50 years, seen a candidate more out of touch with the economy (including Bush Sr.) than McCain. So YES I would vote for Obama even if he were Donald Duck. The fact that he is an articulate (nice after 8 years of incoherence), well educated, thoughful, calm candidate who is able to rally people to his cause with positive messages is a bonus after the last 8 years. McCain's campaign is so negative I just cannot imagine how he would manage to govern and I don't want to know Palin would do if/when someone disagreed with her agenda.

Ok, let's look at this logically. Why do you think other countries who have Universal Healthcare pay such high taxes? But, for the high taxes they get many benefits that Americans do not get! Many countries also provide the college tuition or trade school tuition. Why are students much further advanced? Why do the European countries for example get more time off from work also?

It keeps being said that their corporate taxes are so much lower, so who picks up the slack? The workers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Revenue from the countries has to come from somewhere! I don't know if it is still the case, probably is, but Businesses and corporations provide a lot of the tax to go towards school taxes in I know at least Pennsylvania. You loose Businesses and the tax burden goes up for the homeowners. Fact is Fact, the money to run a country has to come from somewhere! So, don't you think if you make Middle Class workers, who certainly do work hard, will need to work even harder or ask for assistance from the Government.

I am all for lowering taxes on companies who keep jobs here in the US, but punishing those who took our jobs overseas, by making THEM pay a higher tax. When I know that HERSHEY FOODS is relocated in Mexico, I will definately boycott them.

Thank-you Janet, I'm tired of the Conservatives think we Liberals are stupid. The Middle class has endured decline in the past 8 years. Enough is enough. I'm tired of the Democrats being blamed for everything. Blamed for the Housing Crisis, blamed for the Fannie-mae Freddie Mac, (who came up with those names)LOL??

actually it was confirmed after this last debate that Obama had the most negative ads the entire time, save the one week everyone yelled about.
