>>> Are you saying Louis F things Hezbollah is great? or are you saying that Hezbollah thinks highly of Obama?

The latter.

>>> That means what exactly? I'm not really following ... so just say it.

That radicals think Obama is their kind of leader.

>>> I'm sure the KKK and skinheads think BUSH is fantastic and will be running to polls to make sure that black guy doesn't win. Does that make Bush a racist? No, it doesn't.

Well, no, of course it doesn't...Bush isn't running and, as far as I know, the KKK didn't endorse Bush.

LOL, my father is like yours. Always whining about taxes, yet he is wealthy, even after paying the taxes.

Many, many, many of them do not get health insurance. Also, wages are not increasing at the same rate as productivity.

Yet, in spite of these sad conditions you make over 250K a year. Given that the area is economically depressed I am guessing it also has a moderate COL, so you are not doing too badly it seems.

OK, the idea is to roll back the top 2 brackets to pre-Bush levels. This means that you would pay an extra 2% on what you make above 160K (I think that is the breaking point) and below 250K and an extra 4.5% on what you make above 250K. So, if you make 360K that is roughly an extra 6K in taxes.

OTOH, you say that 20% of your work is unpaid due to lack of insurance in your area. Assuming Obama's plan works, let's say that it gets at least half of the uninsured covered. So, 360K=80% of your work which means that you are currently losing 90K a year due to lack of insurance. If by paying an additional 6K in taxes you can make an extra 45K because of better insurance coverage, even if you have to pay 39.5% federal tax on the 45K you still come out ahead compared to now. All in all you should, by a conservative estimate net an additional 10-15K a year. Not a bad deal for paying slightly higher taxes.

A war with no point and no end in sight, entered into for the wrong reasons, would be one biggie.

>>> A war with no point and no end in sight, entered into for the wrong reasons, would be one biggie.

That would be true if there were no point to the war or if it were entered into for the wrong reasons or if there were no end in sight. Fortunately, none of those things is true.
