So what? Barack is his given name, maybe he used Barry in college. What has that got to do with the price of apples? Just one more "dig" Hey my nickname is "laine" should I use that to add to the confusion of the 3 other lanies?
And what was the point of the war in Iraq? Because that seems to have been a very fluid thing in the early days. WMD? Spreading democracy? Terrorism? What was the real purpose?
And when will it end? Any inkling on this? When we have 'victory'? How do you define victory? Who gets to define victory? We have not found WMD because apparently there were none. Since the person we waged war against is now dead and Iraq has had a 'democratic election' one could argue we have won. Since there is now a government in place one could argue we have won. When they are happy with our presence? If that is your definition we will be there forever. If the government of Iraq wants us out we just become an 'invading force' if we stay - so when will you consider we have 'won'?
I agree! I have asked also "what is victory" I'm told when Iraq can govern itself! Well, just how long will that take? We have built billion dollar bases over there, just what if anything other than our dead and injured soldiers are we getting from this? Are there more dying and it's just not being reported in the media? We have been told lie after lie by our Government.
Talk about scrounging for negatives - many, many, many people stop using nicknames after they leave college and join the workforce. It's called growing up. I can't believe you are making an issue about that. Would you have made the same issue if he had gone by Bobby in college but became Robert after college? I doubt it.
