Why do you object to that interview? Chris Matthews continually tried to get her to say "all" liberals were un-American but she refused to follow his lead. I thought she held her own very well and made excellent points.
I saw that interview Bachman had with Chris Matthews and I couldn't believe it.
I really stuck my foot in my mouth a few weeks ago, when after the meltdown I saw Bachman on CSpan and I said, "Why couldn't McCain have chosen someone like her, rather than Palin?". She did a great job speaking about the crisis and the reasons the House had rejected the first bill.
Now, according to her, anyone who is a liberal is anti-American. I'm sure she considers anyone who is/has been be a student in Ayer's classes anti-American. And certainly his colleagues in teh Department of Education at the University of Illinois must be anti-American. And the Republicans who served on boards with him must be anti-American.
Now I realize that Bachman is as bad as Palin, if not worse!
"Though no one was ever caught or tried for the attempt on my family’s life, there was never any doubt who was behind it. Only a few weeks after the attack, the New York contingent of the Weathermen blew themselves up making more bombs in a Greenwich Village townhouse. The same cell had bombed my house, writes Ron Jacobs in The Way the Wind Blew: A History of the Weather Underground. And in late November that year, a letter to the Associated Press signed by Bernardine Dohrn, Ayers’s wife, promised more bombings."
So do you know for a fact that Ayers was responsible for that bomb? Do you know for a fact that he set the bomb? Or are you just inferring something? Because otherwise you haven't answered her/his question. I would ask you also what has the man done since that time? Is he still committing acts of violence? When was his last act of violence? How many years will go by before you can say he is rehabilitated?
How to you excuse the Annenberg's who provided financial support to him while he worked for their foundation? How do you excuse McCain who accepts donations from him? How do you excuse the other democrats and republicans who worked on the same foundations with Ayers? Or the lawyers who hired his wife? If Obama is suspect for working with him aren't all of these people, including McCain, suspect as well? Where exactly is that magical line that separates the acceptable from the unacceptable to be drawn?

Yes I can.
I don't know how many times Obama's poor judgment has been questioned here.
The wiretap the police used was thrown out of court.
It wasn't the police, it was the government.
Sorry, but having a dinner in this man's home to launch your political career is a lot more than a casual association.
There are numerous fundraisers held in people's homes.
That IS frightening.
