Hey, everyone got the Bushie tax cuts and I don't hear the middle class complaining about the cuts they got.

It's $250k for families, $200k for individuals.

Why does someone making $200k per year need a $500 annual credit? That's $41.66 dollars per month.

Perhaps you can explain how Obama returning to the Reagan 39.6% bracket is not also trickle down. Unless we are going to tax the upper middle and upper class at outrageous rates like 70%, we better be hoping some of it really does trickle down.

When you add in his payroll tax increase over $250k it's taxes above the Clinton rates.

Were you under the impression that melanie was ever a possible vote for Obama?

Have a look through the archives since she began posting here, and see how "undecided" she seems to be, and then ask yourself whether it's really possible that she might be a swing voter. I'm sure someone will answer this post by saying "not true: if Obama did ....blah, blah, blah....insert standard Republican talking points here....then melanie probably WOULD consider voting for him."

Sure, maybe. Only, see, then.....he'd be a Republican, not a Democrat. Heck, I'd vote for John McCain if he talked and voted like a progressive....only, see, then....he'd be a Democrat.

I really don't think 700.00 is really much to crow about.

Did you ever consider that maybe real swing voters might come to this board, look at some of the topics and see the attacks and get turned off??? Not everyone who comes here is going to sift through the >300,000 messages to get a firm handle on every individuals politics. I'm not saying it's all Obama supporters - it's both sides. And this kind of discourse isn't helping anyone. If anything, it turns off voters!

Anyway - don't bother responding - I won't be back.

Of course I know that - especially now that the election is getting closer and even low-information voters are starting to wonder what they're gonna do on election day.

Which is exactly why myself and others don't allow incorrect statements to remain without challenge.

You have a nice day.
