I saw this interview with Katie Curic. I think Palin should have taken her "focus factor" pills before that interview. Her comments were all over the place like a bunch of run-on sentences!

"it is about holding the liars that chose to cook the books accountable for their actions. Regulation isn't going to solve a thing."

With respect, you do not understand what government regulation is. It is not just about laws and rules. The most important component of regulation is ENFORCEMENT by the regulators, i.e. as you put it "holding the liars accountable." As has been documented over and over and admitted by many top ex-regulators during the past 8 years, the Bush Administration has prevented the regulators from enforcement of laws and regulations.

"Yes the banks were issuing junk based on FM/FM insistance that they would indeed insure those loans. It was also the govt that was threatening to sue those banks if they didn't issue more of those loans. I do believe I read that Obama worked for one of the law firms that sued those banks."

I can't follow you here. It looks like a blatant smear on Obama, but I am not sure. Any cites would help.

"And Sarah Palin has addressed the AIP twice -- the last time was in a video address in March of this year -- in which she told them "I share your vision' and to 'keep up the good work' (would that be the 'good work' of bringing up a vote for Alaska to secede from the United States?). You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4iCDBIAde8 If one were to believe Sarah had a connection with the AIP, the wording of her address is dripping with innuendo. And here is a clip from a meeting of the AIP where the Vice Chairman at the 6:18 mark asserts that the new Governor, Sarah Palin, was an ex AIP member who to 'go along to get along' registered as a Republican' to run for Governor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NK2sFJebGc And here is a link to the interview Max Blumenthal had with Mark Chryson, former Chairman of the AIP where he says that Sarah's door was 'always open' to him both when she was mayor and governor: http://www.salon.com/ent/video_dog/politics/2008/10/10/blumenthal_chryson/"

Wow. I can't believe the Vice Chair of the Alaska Independence Party is saying that Palin used to be a member. First, was she? Second, even if she wasn't, they clearly think she is totally in sync with their views - in other words:

bye bye America.

So much for the Republicans ridiculous slogan: "America first"! If the shoe doesn't fit, don't try to put it on.

I know that the left is going to try and try and try to deflect what is being said about Obama and Ayers, so again I will say it one more time.

Interesting that General Colin Powell, who endorsed Obama this morning, thinks too much attention is being paid to Ayers. He thinks there is no reason to question the relationship and that Ayers has no place in this discussion. Powell is far more qualified to speak to this than anyone on this board and that is his judgment. What do you make of that?

If it's all about bad judgement then why is it so hard for you to take a good long look at McCain's

Even Colin Powell thinks it is a non-issue.
