In the last couple of months, there have been a number of threads where posters have contended that if only those durned Democrats hadn't blocked legislation introduced by Chuck Hagel (and later signed onto by McCain), that Fannie & Freddie wouldn't have suffered such incredible losses.

I never for one minute doubted that some McCain supporter was going to find a way to spin this obvious lobbyist/republican tampering into a way to blame the democrats. Nice that in this crazy topsy turvey world there are some things that are still predictable.
Kind of like a Judge Judy I saw recently - yes I like to watch her yell at people when I have had a difficult day because she says things I could never say at work LOL - anyway a girl had let her boyfriend driver her car and he wrecked it. He didn't think he was responssible for the damage because if she hadn't lent it to him in the first place it wouldn't have gotten wrecked when he ran it off the road.
