I thought that she was horrible and even more nasal and whiny than usual.lol. Everybody around her performed their hearts out, and she just stood back and watched. lol. I suspected that she would have too big of an ego to make fun of herself. Doggonit, she is JUST like Bush43. Yuck!

She didn't do anything on SNL except show up. Now I give her points for showing up. Even with all his record shattering vacations, the problem with W. was not that he didn't show up. If anything it was the reverse. So I am afraid showing up just isn't going to cut it.

Both Obama and McCain recently showed they have a great sense of humor. Palin, not so good, as with her general lack of qualifications.

Sarah Palin's Appearance on SNL a Huge GOP Disaster

((((...I just can't imagine very many members of the Christian Right, to whom Palin appeals and who might have been checking in to see how their darling was doing, enjoying these words filling their living rooms tonight. Then Palin was compared to Dan Quayle in one otherwise forgettable moment, and for those of us old enough to remember, we were reminded of conservative Justice Clarence Thomas' alleged one-time interest in pornography. Trust me, no helping hand of any kind was extended to Palin or McCain.

...But tonight, SNL gave us another piece of evidence that Gov. Palin's judgment, and that of her running mate, may not be what we want guiding the nation and the world for the next four years.)))))

Wow...NEWSFLASH!...wacko libs didn't like Palin. Whodathunkit? I don't know about you, but I'm completely shocked. I will say that the bits were pretty lame, but that credit goes to the SNL writers (who stopped being impressive many, many seasons ago). I'm sure if Obama had the SNL writers coming up with his schtick at the Alfred E. Smith dinner he'd have been booed off the stage.

Heh - the ratings were low enough that it seems like dumba$$ conservatards didn't much care for her performance, either!

Actually I heard on the news this morning that she didn't want to do the lines SNL wrote for her. Guess it's part of the whole - I'm not going to answer the questions the way you want me to' thing. "I'm not going to read my lines the way you want me to' hmm, seems to be a pattern with her.

NEW YORK -- The fake Sarah Palin has been doing great things for "Saturday Night Live," but the real one put "SNL" over the top to its highest overnight ratings in 14 years.

"SNL" -- with Palin as a guest -- averaged a 10.7 rating/24 share in the 56 metered markets, according to preliminary estimates released Sunday by Nielsen Media Research. It would be the highest-rated "SNL" since March 12, 1994, when Olympic skater Nancy Kerrigan was the host and Aretha Franklin the musical guest. "SNL" would also be the third-highest-rated show of all last week, including primetime, following only ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" (12.0/18) and CBS' "CSI" (11.2/17).

Saturday's program featured an opening with the real Palin speaking to executive producer Lorne Michaels while Tina Fey portrayed Palin in front of the studio audience. Among other things, Palin tried to get Michaels to agree to let her play Fey on "30 Rock," on which Michaels is an executive producer. But Michaels declined, saying that nobody watches "30 Rock." She was introduced to Alec Baldwin, another "30 Rock" star. Later during "Weekend Update," Palin appeared on the set with Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler.

Also on the show was host Josh Brolin, "W." director Oliver Stone and actor Mark Wahlberg.

Saturday's show was up 161% compared with the average last October (4.1/10). It's also up 47% compared with the Oct. 4 "SNL" that averaged a 7.3/18.

what I 'heard' - no idea if it's true - that she wouldn't do was the rap song.
