Just bumping this up to see how many people will say that the police of Fayetteville, NC are a part of the big "liberal" conspiracy as apparently someone/some group does such things as slashing the tires (expensive felony here if they are caught) of people coming to listen to Obama.

Some elements of the country have gone nuts.

Living in NC I can tell you that the Crown Coliseum area is very rough.

Right, sure, it wasn't campaign related - just all in good fun.

I've changed my mind on something after this.

It's funny, Palin was in NC when she remarked that she loves to visit the "pro-America" parts of America. I wonder if this is a shining example of "pro-America" parts of the country.

(She was probobly referring to the small town in NC she was visiting, and I'm not sure if Fayetteville qualifies as a small town. Perhaps Fayetteville isn't part or "real NC")

I am sorry but this is happening on both sides of the fence.

Could be, but what I have is verifiable backup.

I have already acknowledge that this has happens on both sides of the fence, and I think it is despicable, and I am very sorry about your car.

On another note, I wonder if this creep just randomly slashed tires of all cars near the Obama event, or singled out cars with the Obama stickers. Otherwise, s/he could have unwittingly slashed the tires of a McCain supporter. Some of the cars were parked in the street.

Yeah, I know, I was just joking around, Fayetteville is hardly a small town, and BTW, I think too much was made of Palin's "pro-America" remarks. I honestly think she was just trying to compliment the place she was visiting, and not really trying to slam other places.

It's just like when you go into work and you tell one of your co-workers "you look nice today" doesn't mean she looks like crap every other day, nor does it mean that every other girl in the office looks like crap.

Or if you go to a town, and say "wow the scenery here is so pretty" doesn't mean you are saying "the rest of the country is ugo-ville".

But I did thing it was funny that this tire slashing took place in the same STATE that Palin calls "pro-America".

By that same logic, what happened to your car wasn't necessarily campaign related either.

(and I believe that BOTH events were campaign related, however you are only willing to believe that what happened to YOU was)
