At lunch today while we were talking about this, dh said, "someone is going to try to kill him," and how he was ashamed that people in our state were acting so uncivilized and non-Christian.
And 30 cars with tires slashed near a political event is not? Guess it's all in how you look at it. Which side you are on seems to color your perception of the event.
As do I, having family in the area. My brother-in-law grew up in Fayetteville and I have spend much time there as I lived with them for a time shortly after high school and go back to visit his mother yearly. It is also likely an area with a high percentage of Obama so it would be less likely that they would be targets, at least not by Obama supporters. Which kind of contradicts your assertion.
If the area is high crime then they would have done more than slash their tires. They would have broken out their windows...possibly stolen the cars...or they would have stolen the tires. What a coincidence that the tires were slashed during a political event. I know it may be hard to take in because you are not an Obama supporter but let's seriously call it what it is and stop ignoring the facts simply because it does not suit your agenda. It is crazy and scary that Americans are not able to support their candidate without vandalism, mockery or threats. It is ashame what happened to your property...these are scary times and I can honestly say this is the first election that I have heard so many horrible things happening.
