McCains Swings Attack Machine On Powell

When asked on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program Monday for his reaction to Colin Powell's endorsement of Barack Obama, John McCain campaign manager Rick Davis called into question the political acumen of the former Joint Chiefs chairman and Secretary of State.

"Look, I doubt if Colin Powell is equipped to do a whole lot of political prognostication," Davis said, dismissively, adding: "That's what you guys do, right?" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/20/mccain-camp-manager-colin_n_136095.html

The McCain crew would smear their own mothers for a couple of polling point increases. Who is next? David Petraeus? Petraeus seems to me like he's more in line with Obama's Iraq policy than he is with McCain's.

This is not at all surprising, as usual The McCain campaign and their supporters continue to talk about one thing/one person: Barack Obama.

Gee guys, maybe spend a little time on your own candidate and they'd get some real traction and support.

Anyone hear Rush Limblows today? I'm wondering if it's possible for him to do his show, since he's now taken to wearing a white sheet over his head.

Yes,you are so right. More evidence that the GOP is imploding. How disingenuous to downplay the importance of Gen. Powell's endorsement. Their actions speak way louder than their words, because McCain immediately started rattling off the few endorsements that he has received in response to Gen. Powell's endorsement of Obama's.

Just think how you wouldn't be able to shut up the McCain camp if Gen. Powell have given them his endorsement. This is a crushing blow to McCain and they know it...the GOP is abandoning this negative and derisive ship. I don't blame them for calling out the bad apples.

McCain has completely given up trying to run on policy. Hell, I don't think he understands how to even craft policy any longer. He flip flops on just about every thing he proposes. He doesn't know if he's coming or going. Bad sign. If he were a job applicant down at

I agree. I read somewhere that even the RNC is throwing their money into Congressional races rather than

This has been coming. A few weeks ago McCain was holding a rally at University of Florida. Instead of our governor (a Republican, mind you) going to that rally he went to Walt Disney World. Ouch.
