So, I just arrived home from a Palin rally here in CO. I expected anger, insane mobs, people clinging to guns and so on.

That is wonderful, and I am glad that you had great fun. I attribute a lot of that positive atmosphere to the harsh criticisms and high expectations of Palin's rallies made clear by the media, the congress, and the supporters of both candidates. She's being watched. She's on her best behavior. I am very glad to see that she can control her actions for a change. Hopefully, she and McCain will continue to behave like the gov't officials that they are supposed to be. Now, how about her "robocalls"? lol.

How ironic. Obama is mocked, for being and empty suit, being elitist because his intellect allowed him to attend two Ivy league schools. In the modern day republican party intelligence, eloquence and critical thinking makes you an elitist. Yet Palin, with her run on sentences, garbled grammar and misuse of concepts is deemd genuine, a breath of fresh air. No wonder the McCain campaign keeps her away from discussions without her teleprompter.

We've tried mediocrity and blind, narrow opinions the last 8 years. The country is in dire need of a president with a razor sharp, open mind, who is willing to listen to the opinion of others.

Funny you should mention that....

If Michelle Obama spoke like Palin, I can just imagine the "ghetto" comments she would be getting and everythign else she would be called.

You point out the double standard that is operating now. If Sarah Palin was a black female with a pregnant teen daughter, who used colloquialisms like "you feelin me" instead of "ya betcha", the republican party would not even let her join as a member, let alone pick her as a VP candidate.

I watched Palin and McCain's rallies, and it was plain to see that Palin paused after those shouts of hate. McCain paused after those shouts of hate. McCain even made a face after hearing those shouts of hate.

>>> How ironic. Obama is mocked, for being and empty suit, being elitist because his intellect allowed him to attend two Ivy league schools.

Obama is mocked for being an empty suit because he has no qualifications or experience to be President. He's mocked for being an elitist because he puts down people of faith who believe in the second amendment.

>>> In the modern day republican party intelligence, eloquence and critical thinking makes you an elitist. Yet Palin, with her run on sentences, garbled grammar and misuse of concepts is deemd genuine, a breath of fresh air.

Vote McCain...the only candidate with a bi-partisan record...or even a record.
