You titled you thread well. I too am shocked: that in 2008 a supposed democrat laments that a "colored" man is going to the white house. I don't know what type of democrats you run in to. The democrats I meet, tend to avoid bigoted words like colored. Lucky for you, you have the republicans to vote for.
