I copied this from FNC. I'm planning on going to the base today so I'll pick up a copy of Military Times.

The Military Times polled 4,300 readers from 22Sept-29Sept. Those surveyed were a little bit older than the avg. enlisted member and includes a few more officers than are represented in the military as a whole.

ALL RESPONDENTS

68% support McCain

23% support Obama

10% undecided, declined to answer or other

If you divide it by race, 8 out of 10 Black service members

Let us also see some regional polling; Norfolk, Raleigh/Durham, Jacksonville, San Diego.
What does the Military have to say about the new GI Bill...

No, McCain getting the majority of Military voters is far from a shoe-in.

From what I understood, and I've been wrong before, this was a world-wide poll.

Increase in educational benefits? My husband is thrilled. He came in, he had to buy in to qualify.

Tell us exactly how Obama has 'Used his race' in this election.

The concept that Blacks are voting for Obama because he's black is beyond stupid. It's not as if the GOP ever had more than 10% support from the black electorate for the last 40 years. Old WHITE GUY after old white guy got plenty of support from blacks; From Carter to Kerry.

In the modern era of politics, blacks have supported democrats for one very strong reason: The GOP has nothing to offer, nothing to give and nothing to even be in touch with when it comes to Black America.

As for the Military, McCain has a lot to answer for with his opposition to the G.I. Bill. To say that someone who's done TWO YEARS IN IRAQ isn't worthy of a College Education goes beyond just being out of touch.

Sheet; You do two weeks in Iraq and I think you should get 4 years paid college.

It is perfectly understandable that the military would not support to serve as commander in chief Obama, whose "spiritual mentor" of twenty years preached hatred of the US and its military and

Oh pulease! those ARE true statement. But now this one "They prefer to eat watermelon and fried chicken" a remark I have heard on numerous occassions. Even though yes, it was 2 blacks who went on a shooting spree a few years ago, shooting people at a gas station. But it could have easilly been some crazy white thugs doing that also.
