There has been so much thrown around about McCain's voting record and Obama's voting record that it got me to thinking today.

Thanks - that answered my question. I can now state that I am comfortable with the fact that Obama voted 'with his party' on things such as increased Pell Grants for students, Increased funding for vets with PTSD, for an ethics bill, voted for a congressional commission to study what went wrong with Katrina, he voted for a congressional committee to study how contracts were to be handed out in Iraq and Afghanistan, he voted for an amendment that opposes criticism of our military. Apparently the first amendment does not apply to the military? On all of these issues, which I do care about, McCain voted no while Obama voted yes. So I guess I am ok with his votes along party lines. Oh I almost forgot he also voted against giving himself a pay raise.
