The queen in waiting couldn't even wait to be elected VP. Palin has gone out and dropped $155,000 on clothing.

So much for the average hockey mom mythology.

Maybe I find it vulgar cause I know of 3 people who try to live on less than $10,000 a year.

He still has the same golf shoes he bought in the early 80's (too comfortable to replace).

HA! I go MIA for a couple years, and I come back to the same old board. LOL Nice to know things haven't changed.

Ok. What does it matter that such-in-such candidate spends on personal hygiene and appearance? Let me tell you how it may matter to some. Some may look at this and try to reflect it upon how this or that candidate would spend our hard-earned tax dollars. Would they be as careless and frivolous with the national budget as they are with their own? Are they going to be as wasteful in the Whitehouse?

Does it matter to me? Honestly, no. Why? Because they all are wasteful spenders, bottom line. Appearance does matter, though, to the great people of the U.S., and to the rest of the world, and if these people have the money at their fingertips to "look their best", most are going to use it to their fullest.

Investors are skittish at election time, especially this year. They don't know what policies will be put in place or how much Obama would raise capital gain taxes. Markets try to anticipate the future, it's their job. If they would just eliminate cap gains, even if just temporary, it would help bring some stability to the market. But if any taxes are raised, don't expect an improvement for awhile.

My apologies.
