The queen in waiting couldn't even wait to be elected VP. Palin has gone out and dropped $155,000 on clothing.

So much for the average hockey mom mythology.

Do we now all get upset about how candidates dress, do their hair, and what it costs THEM?

Seems it was talked about ad nauseum on this board - I believe you participated - about John Edwards' $400 hair cut.

Funny how people were up in arms over what Michelle may have eaten for lunch with assumptions that it was with campaign funds - on a day she wasn't even in NY.

>"$8,672.55 in September by the McCain-Palin campaign, according to the campaign's latest monthly financial report filed this week with the Federal Election Commission. She was paid $5,583.43 the previous month, records show."<

She earns her money when it comes to McCain. ;)

Yep.

I'm pretty sure we can retire the fauxtraged charges of "elitism," of "lobster and caviar" (which weren't even true), and especially, LORD, we can retire the "but....but....*sputter*.....John Edwards gets $400 haircuts!!!!" lines.

Gotta love them hippo-critters in the Grand Old Plutocracy

Well....sure, Cindy McCain's OUTFIT for the GOP convention cost more than the average HOME in the United States....but it's considered "gauche" and "envious" if you, you know.....point it out, and all. LOLOL. But let someone get a $400 haircut, and it's the lead story on most MSM political shows for at least a week, and the fauxtraged charges of "elitism" and such are so thick, you need wings to stay above 'em.

Heck, no! Just the Democrats. When THEY do it, we sharpen the long knives and start preparing our "character matters" talking points.

Mmmm.....do you have any family heirlooms which are valued at $280,000 and upon which you could NOT build a house? ROFL.
