I believe there is an Associated Press article about this, and it may refer to their own poll, I am not certain.

Obama Leads McCain by at Least 10 Points in Two National Polls

Barack Obama widened his lead over John McCain two weeks before Election Day, with two national polls showing voters favor the Democrat by at least 10 points.

Obama holds a 14 point lead over Republican presidential nominee McCain in a Pew Research Center poll released today. The survey, taken from Oct. 16-19, shows Obama supported by 52 percent of registered voters and McCain backed by 38 percent. In late September, the Pew poll showed Obama with a 7 percentage point lead.

A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll put Obama's support at 52 percent of voters to McCain's 42 percent, the biggest lead Obama has had over McCain in the poll since both men won their parties' nominations. The survey, conducted from Oct. 17-20, had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

The Pew poll showed voters giving Obama higher marks on the economy. Fifty-three percent of voters say Obama is better able to improve economic conditions compared with 32 percent who say the same about McCain.

In addition, Obama leads McCain 52 percent to 37 percent in 15 battleground states, a group that includes Florida, Ohio, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Virginia, according to Pew. The survey didn't break out individual state results.

The Pew poll, which surveyed 2,599 registered voters, has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.

Both polls showed Obama increasing his advantage with political independents, with the Journal/NBC showing him leading McCain by 12 percentage points with that group, up from 4 points last month. In the Pew survey, Obama was ahead 53 percent to 33 percent among independents.

The two surveys are in line with other recent national polls, which show Obama's lead in a range from 4 percentage points to 10 points. The Realclearpolitics.com average of polls puts the margin at 7 points. The gap has increased steadily since mid-September.

---
No one has faith in government any more.
---

No, that's not true. For the most part, only McCain supporters & Republicans think that. This after electing George W Bush who said time after time in 2000 that government doesn't work then spent 8 years proving it.

Government can work and has worked to help progress this country in the past, it will again.

Something else Bush said in 2000: They've had their chance to lead, they've failed, we won't.

================================

Reward Republicans for 8 years of failure? No way, No how, No McCain!
