I listened to that video three times trying to see what it was you heard that made it relevant to the current debate about taxes? McCain is not against the progressive tax (one of the reasons I don't support him). He is not proposing doing away with the progressive tax. He talked in that video about tax relief for working Americans, which is something he is still proposing. There is a difference between TAX relief for people who are currently paying taxes, and giving additional money back to those that don't pay ANY tax.

What a shock, something else he was for before he was against. McCain makes 2004's John Kerry look very principled and steady.

There's a long and distinct pattern of what Senator McCain thinks about things and what Candidate McCain does.
