Obama is NOT raising taxes

Much has been said about Obama raising taxes, but here's the deal on it.

George W Bush is raising your taxes. It is his tax cut that he signed into law that contained the time for them to EXPIRE.

Obama had nothing to do with this Legislation. It was signed by George W Bush.

Of course, only a few years ago John McCain himself wouldn't support those tax cuts, flip-flopping (again) his position entirely since beginning to run for President after the 2004 election.

Reward Republicans for 8 years of failure? No way, No how, No McCain!

He had a budget surplus - meaning more money came in than was necessary for the day-to-day conduct of the government's business.

interesting.

the first email was about paying for a service (which is what a 'tax' is).

the second is about receiving the service, not about paying for it.

The amount paid to the realtor is subtracted before figuring the amount of capital gains.

Are you saying that the exclusion on capital gains on the sale of home will be different under Obama?

Don't be fearful unless your house has greatly increased in value, or if you don't live in it for two years before selling it.

As far as I know, Obama has made no mention of ending the exclusion.

<Ok, I have a question. #1 How are we going to reduce the trillion dollar deficit,#2 How are we going to continue to throw 10 billion a month to Iraq? #3 how are we going to have any Health Care reform where people can get the health care they need? You Conservatives seem to believe you have all the right answers. Well, it was Conservative thinking that got us into this mess of debt! >
