As usual, the left has missed the point entirely. The issue isn't whether or not taxes should be raised or lowered for economic reasons, it's the socialist ideology behind Obama's plan that specifically TAKES income from one segment of society...that EARNED it...for the specific purpose of giving it to another segment of society...that DID NOT earn it...for no other reason than a skewed perception of financial equity.

Olbermann had a great point tonight. McCain is calling Obama socialist for trying to roll back the Bush tax cut that McCain himself originally voted against, with a lot of fanfare no less. That makes McCain a recent ex-socialist by his own silly standards. But then Fox-Republican officials and politicians never have to have their own standards applied to them. We've seen that again just today with their refusal to recognize their own voter shenanigans - if Obama had done what they did they would be calling to postpone the election.

>>> Bush43 redistributed wealth to the rich, for almost 8 Years,

I think the left could really use a dictionary. Charging someone less isn't "re-distributing" wealth.

>>> but they didn't share any of their revenues with the rest of us.

Sure they did. They caused the economy to grow 20% more than under Clinton. They created jobs for the "little people."

>>> Unbelieveable that over 59 million people voted that moron into office - TWICE!

Must have been those racists and rednecks who cling to their guns and religions...as the Democrats call them. I guess they thought Bush was a better bet than Algore and FrankenKerry...and they were right.

>>> Who wants the rich to get richer and the middle class and working poor to get poorer? Not me.

The middle class isn't getting poorer. My salary has never gone down, and there are more avenues than ever for entrepreneurs to make money. There's a reason that there are more millionaires today than 10 years ago...more people are getting rich...or I should say, more motivated people are getting rich.

>>> You can read John McCain's words, because there they are in black and white. McCain agrees with redistributing wealth to the middle class and working poor. Taxpayers...not fictious "Sams" that don't pay taxes. lol.

No, he doesn't...and none of his words or policies describe a "redistribution of wealth."

>>> Obama's plan is better for Americans - 95% of working families will help start driving this economy again.

ROFL!!! Didn't work with the "Bush stimulus package" and it won't work with Obama's socialist re-distribution of wealth. What are you going to do with your $500? Here's the gaffe-meister's suggestion...

"provide SUBSTANTIAL tax cuts to the middle class for a change...so they can pay their mortgage...so they can send their kids to college...they can pay for health care..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dxh-Wb3FGNA

Can you believe the morons on the Obama/Biden ticket are actually SO stupid and out of touch that they'll actually stand there and tell you to "pay for health care" or "send your kids to college" with their pathetic welfare check?

>>> Did you notice that even though McCain hated Bush43 for beating him in the primaries, he still voted WITH him?

Right is right...and it's not surprising that someone who holds the values espoused by the Republican party would vote along with a Republican President. What's really telling are the times McCain went against his party on important issues...unlike Barry, who voted along party lines 97% of the time...and 50% with Bush...and never against his party.

>>> Now, McCain looks like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when you compare his 2000 platform to his lying stump speeches of 2008, or was McCain lying then? Only he knows.

Actually...no...but if you're looking for the liar, you don't have to go back years to see the flip-flops, you only have to listen to Barry for a few minutes. There isn't a "close friend" he hasn't thrown under the bus when it was politically expedient and not a single policy or position that he has not flip-flopped on since he got the nod.

>>> The man is inept. Ron Paul would be more lucid than McCain. lol.

I agree...Obama is inept and a neophyte. And almost anyone is more lucid than Barry is if you turn off his teleprompter. LOL!

That New Time Religion John McCain grew up Episcopalian. He went to an Episcopalian high school. For at least 15 years, he has been listed as an Episcopalian in authoritative directories such as the Almanac of American Politics and Congressional Quarterly's Politics in America 2008. He told a reporter from McClatchy News Service in June 2007 that he was an Episcopalian.

Suddenly, in September 2007, he's campaigning in South Carolina, the heavily Baptist state where George W. Bush barely managed to stop McCain's presidential campaign 8 years ago. And guess what? McCain tells a reporter "By the way, I'm not Episcopalian. I'm Baptist."

When pressed, he said he's attended the North Phoenix Baptist Church in Arizona for more than 15 years, though he has never been baptized in that church. Now see, that's exactly the problem. Baptism is kind of a big thing in the Baptist Church. (That's how they got the name.) No baptism, not Baptist.

Anyway, details aside, this is one very clear indication of how McCain has changed. Now, he's just another hungry politician, happy to pander if it helps him win. Which eliminates the very reason people were excited about him in 2000 -- his honesty.

>>> Today, McCain admits he plans to spread around the wealth by making EVERYONE wealthy.

The Daily CRAP...er...KOS must have misprinted McCain's statement. He doesn't want to "spread the wealth around"...he wants to create wealth through opportunity.

>>> This guy is all over the map, not in a good way - but in an SNL "lets's make the states bounce" way. lol.

Actually, McCain has a firm grasp of economics, unlike "Barry the Marxist" who wants to raise taxes and spend BILLIONS while the country is in an "economic crisis."

A deficit hawk and formerly a critic of the massive tax cuts launched in 2001 by the Bush administration, McCain now embraces the tax policies of supply-side economists who contend that lifting the tax yoke on the rich would encourage investment and stimulate the economy. "Wealth creates wealth," McCain said during a primary debate in Michigan last year.

Under his proposals, McCain would make all the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts permanent. That would keep the two highest tax brackets at their current rates of 33% and 35% -- rather than reverting to 36% and 39.6%, where they were during the Clinton administration.
