Yes we all know Obama tried drugs, as did many of his generation. As did Bush, and I wouldn't be the least surprised it McCain had either, nor would I think any less of any of them for it. For that matter how many of us have used alcohol? How many politicians used alcohol during prohibition? Now if you had evidence that he was using illegal drugs today that would be another story, requiring credible links. Seriously, if we expect our presidential candidates to have lived lily white lives we will really diminish our chances of finding anyone who can mount a credible campaign.
MSNBC stakes claim in cable news

NEW YORK -- Tuesday was a very, very good night for MSNBC.
The cable news channel beat both Fox News Channel and CNN in the adults 25-54 demographic, Nielsen Media Research said Wednesday. MSNBC averaged 786,000 viewers in the demo between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET, compared with CNN's 710,000 and Fox News Channel's 672,000. But Fox News Channel was still top dog in viewership with 2.8 million viewers to CNN's 1.9 million and MSNBC's 1.9 million.
"Countdown With Keith Olbermann" had its best ratings for a regular show ever, in first place in the demo and second place to "The O'Reilly Factor" in viewership. "Countdown" averaged 935,000 viewers in the demo with "The O'Reilly Factor" averaging 742,000 and CNN's "Election Center" averaged 583,000. "The O'Reilly Factor" had 3.4 million viewers to "Countdown's" 2.2 million and "Election Center's" 1.5 million.
Oh, and the coda to this story? Tuesday was also the day that O'Reilly signed a new contract with FAUX "News", worth over $10 million a year. Wonder if Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch are having any buyer's remorse? ;o)
>>But that doesn't seem to be the case with the MSM. They did a front page article on Cindy McCain, and her substance abuse problem. Has that same media done that to Obama? Certainly not.<<
Not to be nitpicky, but Obama never had a substance abuse problem. He did not try to cover it up. He did not steal or forge signatures or whatever it was that she did to get the drugs. (I did hear about it but never looked in depth into it) He did not need to go to a rehab for it. Maybe it's me but I always assumed that people experiment in their youth. If I'm not wrong, didn't GWB admit to a drinking problem and doing cocaine (including a DUI) before he got to the oval office?
No, sorry...the single most coveted demographic in all of media is the 25-54 age range...the one in which Olbermann beat O'Reilly on the very day he was signing another multi-year contract. Yes, FAUX "News" is still killing in the 65-dead demographic....but advertisers tend not to care nearly so much about them.
You said "O'Reilly's ratings are going through the roof," I pointed out that in the most competitive demographic, Olbermann beat O'Reilly. What about that is hard to understand?

For some reason I can't find a good video - but it is hilarious. Here is a bit of the skit.

Did you read that link?
Intersting (and tacky) way to title the post.
As far as the story, it looks like it could be a farce. The B is backwards because the
