Change or no change

The upcoming presidential election ultimately comes down to one main thing.
Are voters for change or do they want things to remain as they are.
Obama/Biden are committed to changing the course that are country is going in.
McCain/Palin are committed to pretty much the status quo. Over the past five years, Senator McCain has supported Bush/Cheney 90 to 95 percent of the time.
McCain supports Bush’s policy in Iraq. McCain wants to make the tax cuts for those who make MORE than $500,000 a year permanent. That means that middle class Americans will have to continue to carry the load when it comes to local taxes and user fees.
McCain supports cutting capital gains taxes for the WEALTHY. He wants tax breaks for the oil companies.
McCain wants to privatize social security and wants to deregulate the health care industry similar to the way banks and lending institutions were degregulated under Bush that led to our present economic mess.
In short, vote for McCain/Palin if you like the way things are in our country today...Down. If you want four more years of what we have experienced this past eight years, then Senator McCain is your man.
But, if you want change to come, you need to vote for Obama/Biden. Changing the present course of our country will come only if we change who is running the country. That means putting someone from the Democratic Party in the White House.
